Every time in Berchtesgaden we stay in this hotel. The property is fairly clean, nestled in a beautiful building with a Michelin star rated restaurant. All the staff members are very amiable and fabulously helpful. The hotel boasts remote location to the Eagles Nest bus stop. The breakfast in the terrace is sumptuous and above average.

Phenomenal location next to the water at St Bartholomew's Church, in the very historic area. What a fabulously friendly staff!

the room was decent sized and nice styled and had marvellous views of the mountains. we had a safe, television, coffee and tea making equipment plus a luxury bathroom. the service was good and the pool was great. took the advantage of the parking onsite.

The staff were attentive, and the room was fashionable and large with a patio, amazing views of the Bavarian Alps, large terrace. The location was stunning and lovely, within easy walking distance of Kampfhausl. I stayed here for a trip and would love to come back.

We ate at a very nice restaurant for dinner. It had magnificent views on the surrounding mountains and a nice decor. The service was good and the food was amazing. The spa was there to chill out.

Amazing place, must visit for whom is seeking relaxation

My stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible. The location was breathtaking, nestled in the mountains with stunning views all around. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a gym, pool, sauna, and bar with a cozy wood fire. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel. The staff was friendly and spoke English fluently, making my stay even more comfortable.

Beautiful Hotel, Amazing Chef! The rooms were too warm for us. I realize this is a European thing, but we cannot sleep in a hot room. The above question on wether or not I would recommend Berchestgaden to others. I was not referring to the hotel. I just found the area to be too low key for me. Not enough to see and do.

Rooms too hot!

The architecture of this hotel in fantastic. It blends in very well with the natural beauty of the mountains. The views are spectacular. The spa is one of the best hotel spas that you can imagine with a wonderful outdoor heated pool, a large and well functioning steam room, and a full range of exercise equipment that far exceeds what most hotels offer. The bar is so well stocked with the best labels of whiskey, bourbon, tequila, etc. that it was very nice to sit and have a nice drink after dinner. Although I only stayed for one night, I would love to go back to this hotel and spend a few days and explore the area a bit more.

Beautifully decorated hotel with a festive ambiance, spacious and clean rooms, delightful breakfast with sparkling wine, friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed the relaxing spa and pool facilities. Although parking came at an extra cost, the overall experience at Kempinski was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in the Alps.

The hotel is just excelent.... The view is wonderful and the staff great. Take Walter, the doorkeeping, as an exemple.

The internet conection is low, very low. I call the reception but they could do nothing about it.
